Thank you to all who attended the public meeting held on 28th October.

To support Woodborough's case for more investment in flood resilience measures, two points were made very strongly:

  • please can everyone whose property was affected by flood water fill out the Gedling form and return it to Gedling BC as detailed, or to the Parish Council via the Village Hall letterbox. (This is the form on green paper that was handed out at the meeting). If your neighbours were affected, please encourage them to fill out the form too. Investment is made in the geographies where most properties would benefit, so if damage in Woodborough goes under reported then - put simply - we lose out.
  • investment in flood resilience schemes is always a political decision, so please contact our MP Mark Spencer. Ask for a meeting, or write him a letter or email and explain how you have been affected by flooding. Details for Mark Spencer are as follows:
