Gedling Borough Council is consulting on its Local Development Plan and invites you to have your say.
This overview of the background is a helpful introduction to a far reaching and broad plan for the borough until 2043.
Its scope includes delivery of the new homes required in the borough to meet UK government targets. A full set of maps can be found in the issues and options document from page 85.
Possible development sites - Woodborough can be found on page 98.
The consultation runs from 21st July until 1st September.
The Parish Council is hosting a public information meeting on Wednesday 6th August from 6.30pm to 8.30pm to provide information on the process. It should be noted that Gedling Borough Council officers who are running the consultation have declined to attend this meeting, but our Gedling councillor Helen Greensmith will be in attendance and will endeavour to answer your questions.
Woodborough Parish Council will be considering its own response at an extraordinary meeting to be held on 27th August.
